I'm really falling in love w/ Finnish Avant-Prog band Alamaailman Vasarat ((" Hammers of the Underworld"))...
...they sound like Uz Jsme Doma if they were Finnish, primarily instrumental and a bit more spastic...beatifully chaotic stuff.

I love it, actually...it should be obvious by now how I feel about rock instrumentation w/ classical compositional ideas.
Definitely a 5 star album for me...perfectly minimal and dissonant...odd, chaotic rhythms...haunting, intense, and beautiful...I'd say it's definitely a step above the artists he directly inspired...good stuff.

Just to break up Seba's isolation
Test Dept - Beating a Retreat
Test Dept's first album, sounding bleak and stripped down, unlike their later 'everything and the kitchen sink' releases.
A bit like early Neubauten, funnily enough.
