Hey, it can't be much worse than Delaware's state bird. All we have is a goddamn chicken! (( appropriate when you consider that, per square inch, chicken's outnumber humans something like 5 to 1 in my state! ))

Let's have a round for the Fightin' Blue Hens!

well, i just got back from the philip glass/bang on a can concert. it was unbelievable, the most ive ever enjoyed myself at a concert. the bang on a can pieces were really fun. unfortunately... philip glass is a pretty bad pianist so he really screwed up at the end of music in fifths. bang on a can playing his music for 30 minutes non stop was really something else though, totally put me in a trance.but i got the feeling that most of the audience hated it, everyone was twitching after like ten minutes, and people were laughing at the end of the piece glass messed up on. oh well! people suck

When I think of Glass on piano, I think of the Peter Sellers' role as Henry Orient in the film The World of Henry Orient.

I saw Supersilent last night and it was a highly entertaining show. I will hopefully be seeing them again on Monday. Anyone in NYC should check them out Monday at the Tonic!
