Been to a Silver Mt Zion gig yesterday, was quite impressive, though Efrim's voice was sometimes a bit too much out of key to be agreeable... The polyphonic singing in some songs was astonishingly beautiful though... Too bad they didn't play "13 Angels..." of the first cd...
It was also funny to hear Efrim say: "I don't know how it must be to live in the same city as NATO... Well we'll play this next song for them... Maybe it will enlighten their minds..." and then they started "Babylon Was Built On Fire" from the last cd, which is about the war in Iraq, I think...
The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind album is reeeal groovy dudes. Its got that great track from Electric Light Orchestra, Mr. Blue Sky, a lot of Polyphonic Spree, a Beck tune, Don Nelson, some Indian sexpot Lata Mangeshkar, Don Nelson, real snazzy ambient tunes...man just check itout for yourselves, http://www.eternalsunshine.com/ in the Music Player.
