It's interesting.
The guy uses the cadence of people's speech as the 'melody' of his music.
wonder what ever happened to the guy?

What I heard of him reminded me a bit of Glenn Gould's Solitude Trilogy.

Cecil Taylor - Tayassus Pecaris & Peat, which make up discs 9 & 10 of Taylor's Feel trio's 2 Ts for a lovely T set.

As expected Cecil is incredible through these 10 discs and Tony Oxley is excellent. William Parker on the other hand leaves a lot to be desired. Parker seems to be basically playing the same patterns throughout and I don't like his arco playing. I wish this was a set of solo or only a duo with Oxley. It is a shame that Barry Guy or one of the other greats was not used instead of Parker.

In fact, it's probably second only to 'Mark of the Mole' in my estimation of Mole related Residents thingies.
I second that, too!

John Zorn - "Angelus Novus" [Album]

And here's one fine example where all of my comments about Zorn not being a composer in the classical sense fall apart...

...I still say that, in general, he's not...but he's really trying here!
