You know, I think these threads need a change of pace...from now on, whenever you post an album/track here, try and give it a small review...it seems we've mostly just been throwing out whatever happens to be playing, but we should really give our opinions on the albums for others, it would make these type of threads a bit more "functional", I suppose...

Right now: "Indent" by Cecil Taylor...listening to that man perform solo for the first time 4 years ago on record was completely revelatory for me...he nearly single handedly adjusted my listening towards appreciating free-jazz/free-improv and the avant-garde...I'd never heard a pianist produce sounds of that nature before!

...good memories of a time when there was still music out there that could shock me!

In any case, this is definitely one of his very best releases...
