Kondo recorded for John Zorn's Tzadik label, but Zorn didn't want to release it.

I almost bought a solo album Kondo did in the 80s, but it was really really aweful.

So I didn't buy it.

any particular reason? because it was awful?

That seems odd of Zorn...hasn't Tzadik always prided itself on "total creative freedom" for its artists?!? Weird...
