How about Meat Loaf?

I suppose. It'd probably be interesting to see him try and provide vocals to this music...honestly, I doubt he could...both vocalists are fantastic!

Yes, I posted this in another thread a few days ago, but goddamnit I fucking love this record!!!

a bit old news though... I've had parts of their two full cd's on my computer for quite a long time now... (not that I've listened to it much as of yet, it just felt good saying that )

Doesn't seem like something you'd be into, Orpheus.

Considering that I just got the album a few weeks ago, it's not old news to me.

What is it with everyone competing with me lately? I've now had both you and Geryon throwing it in my face that you've mentioned / listened to an artist before me. I don't have time to listen to everything you know, and I've never made a single claim about having heard every artist ever to record. Give me a break here.

I've noticed that, too. I just write if off to playful forum rivalry.

bah I'm listening to it now, as you can see... and it sounds quite interesting... very Patton-esque...

I think I found out about them after searching for similar things to Aereogramme... although SGM are really not like them... Aereogramma are more like an eerie post/indie rock band with some noisy/screaming eruptions... I love them though...

I think that they've been mentioned by other people here as well... probably by Chiron...

some people on rateyourmusic claim that their first album is much better, can't say much about it myself yet

oh and I just like to feel like an annoying knowitall sometimes

"1997" of their Grand Opening and Closing album is an experimental noiserock version of Prince's "1999" nice

I'll probably be getting it in a few weeks anyway. I've already got their live release coming in the mail.

In any case, I'm continuing with the avant-prog:
