Well, I just submitted it to Sheikh one day and he liked it, and there starts my journey

started talking to him on aol instant messenger, and then just submitted...he was actually in a hurry and didn't really edit anything, so there ya go.

I've had quite a few more, but that was the beginnings...I just wrote one on the new funckarma 12" and it actually made the front page, which is surprising...

perhaps Arovane's Tides album would interest you as well. Zahn's stuff is all very atomospheric and classically constructed. much of it is quite minimal, such as the material on Atol Scrap, but a much more accessible minimal. meaning there are several subtle and deceptive changes. subtle, but rewarding to a close listen.
