eh, Mira Calix possibly rubbed off of Autechre since she dates one of the boys. I am fond of the last album "skimskitta", something I need to pull out.

Here's an idea: I'll upload essential seconds of each unknown track... I'm sure there's some upload site I could use, but can't find one... Any ideas?

... Oh, by the way; I did check out Mira Calix. To anyone whose heard "Skimskitta", I'm sure you'll agree that I shouldn't be satisfied what that noise.

... And if no one's heard any of them before, at least I'll have spread interest in them.

perhaps nothing ever sounded like Silverside, and nothing ever will.

It's not that simple.
I've got the music; it's just very low quality - from a 300kbps .asf video stream. I'll keep searching for an upload site, so I can post a link here for anyone interested to have a listen...

I was being more sarcastic than anything else actually. Seems like "silverside" is the only thing that you can relate with when it comes to music. I'm not bashing the track, by any means, it's a good one, but damn with phrases such as "Are you joking? Or just deaf?" and "Why waste time typing a meaningless response? I'll look for other electronic music forums to post this." why do you even expect us to give any kind of congenial help? Honestly, I don't see how you can say "everything by proem is incomparable" because Richard Bailey is a highly underrated individual when it comes to THIS style.

By the way, were you ever able to find anything that satisfied your needs with this on any other boards?

To me "silverside" sounds more like a classical music song than an electronic music song. So if you really want to hear something similar, I'd suggest you listen to some symphonic orchester.

Anyway, about Mira Calix, I don't really dig the album skimskitta because it's kinda "beatless". However, I like the track "Sparrow" from One On One; great mood.

or perhaps Vletmx21 I believe, should be the last track on Garbage EP for Autechre, which again is beatless, but it's one of my favorite songs by the duo

When I said Mira Calix, I didn't mean the whole album - I meant the song only.

Go to http://www.warprecords.com/bleep/ and compare them. You'll might disagree, but this one track is much closer than the rest of the album.

Um, that song would be "Shadenfreude" too...
