I defenitly heard about them!!

I jammed with these guys in '98. The Beale street blues band, are a few guys who play the blues, down at Beale street, at the W.C. Handy statue . Memphis offcourse. Those guys live from a small paycheck from the city, the selling of their tapes, and whatever tourists and so give them in exchange for a request song. They really play music for about 15 days an hour. No rules, no managers, just what the blues is all about.

They eaven have electricity plugs in the ground for their amplifiers. Guess the city did that, for touristic reasons. But the guys, they mean every word of what they sing and every note they play.

I'll add photo's later. I'll try to get some music samples, but don't know when I'll get them on PC. It's on tape u see....

Here they are.

Jimmy Ellis, another Belgian Tourist, and me on bass. (18 there)

Overday, when Beale street is at it's quitest, people get the chabnce to jam with them. Really great!!!

I played two songs with Jimmy: In the midnight hour, and Too tired.

Great experience.

Seems interesting... Do you play music in a band, Mr Gooze? If yes, which one, is there a website and do you happen to play gigs in Vlaams Brabant soon?

Can't seem to find the time nor musicians. I got a good singer (nice piece of ass too) , got a drummer who needs some more practice, and guitarplayers seem to be the problem. Time and time again....
