Cakewalk Home Studio 2004 Help

Hi i started using home studio 2004, and using its sequencer but i have this problem. The third count of every bar is slightly delayed, and otherwise sounds jumbled up, the tempo isnt consistent. The file i attached is a perfect example. (Theyre supposed to be all quarter and half notes)

So is this a problem i can fix or does home studio 04 just suck? Cuz i didz pay 80 big ones for it.

hmm... ive used cakewalk with no problems like that... the only thing i cud think of is that your pc is busy doing something else and cant keep up with your sequencer. just make sure you have no other external programs running in the background.

something similar happened to me with cubase, they are resizing your sample for x reasons, but once they asked me something and I answered no, and when I added samples after that, they were going at their normal speed at it had it's full lenght

sorry, I was a bit tired when I wrote that. They means the program, don't ask me why I used they, but anyway, I meant that the program resized my samples to the lenght it wanted ( or maybe that I limited first). So when it resized it, the sample while played was playing faster. It's maybe not your problem, as you said it was changing all the time. But you can check if you set limitations to where you want to add the sample.
