There is nothing original about Kanye West. Beats and samples and style. Everyone has heard the squeaky voice thing before. I think he should stick to the behind the scenes stuff.

Hmm. I've heard a bit more of his stuff, and it is actually really suprising. Alot of heart and some of the lyrics are really poignant.

It's not like he's an amazing rapper- but his voice has a good sound. I love the falls down song or all falls down something like that..

Don't get me wrong Kanye West is good, but he ain't the next big thing.

i disagree. just because something's been done before, doesn't mean it can't be done in a new way. i don't know if he's the next big thing or not, but it could certainly be worse.

hes giving rap a breath of fresh air. no hoes no bootie eventhough i liked that mr west has something else to say compared to every other rapper out there and thats cool.

Plus his production is tight. He's produced for twista, talib kweli, alecia keys and of course hova.

thign is with kanye west i see him in the same light as britney spears *prepares to get flamed* the songs sound good but there's very little artistry there.

No Artistry? He's done more production that you can think of... More like the Neptunes than Britney. Forget the lyrics, check the beats. they are dope. period.
