But as many people here have said there are plenty of people who do that, they just don't get nearly the airplay. If people are feeling Kanye cause he's different than all the BS then maybe they need to stop listening to the BS and look around for something more refreshing, because I assure you it exists.

Come on spaceman, i'm sure you've read plenty of my replies to a few other threads. Mos Def is my favorite artist period. The only reason people dont listen to a lot of there stuff is because sometimes the beats they choose for there songs aren't all that good. Its hard for a mainstream crowd to listen to anything that they cant bop there head to, no matter what type of story is laced on the track. Kanye being a good beat producer, not dropping BS is what everyone is getting hyped about. Because after the mainstream listeners finish boppin there heads and actually start LISTENING to the words...they're like damn, this cat is speaking some real ish.

And i assure u i know it exists. But me being a nightclub hip hop DJ, I also know what people want to hear.

sure sure, I get you. It isn't often that someone has songs that get mainstream club play and they put something behind the lyrics more deep that "get 'em on da floor" or something like that. If Kanye is gonna use a nice hook and beats to get people's attention and then actually put something behind the lyrics, well then more power to him. Kinda sucks that a raidio friendly hook is the only way to get people to initially listen, but I guess that's just how it is when the crowd just wants to bop their heads.

I prefer when Kanye is behind the scenes rather than on the actual track. The man is a genius, anyone that produced "Alicia Keys- Fallin'" and most of Jay-Z's beats should not be underrated. I am however quite fond of "All Falls Down" and the video is refreshing.

through the wire is a good song. I've heard his other new song with twista which is alright. Still got that squeeky voice in the background which is a bit annoying
